As for many of us, reading FHM to me is some perplexed experience of multimedial kind. You focus on text - images draw your attention instead. You switch to pictures - mind asks the verbal comment. Still the counterpoint of pleasure is beyond the proximity. Pleasure postponed but not denied - in pure form. The quote comes to mind: pictura - vulgus literatura. Picture is literature for those who cant read. In the best of meaning. And working.
